The Longford Leader has a great report on the selection night for the Longford Rose 2008, who turned out to be Ciara Kearney. In a quote from the article Ciara said “I am delighted, thrilled and excited about becoming the Longford Rose,” she said. “I couldn’t believe it when I heard my name called out because all the girls were really lovely.”
