Having connections in high places can be a mixed blessing. Dervla Kenny, 2012 Mayo Rose, is the niece of Enda Kenny - yes that Enda, An Taoiseach. As Dervla was reported as saying in the Herald, "everybody is a relation to somebody" in Ireland.
