These are some photographs of Sarah Felong, the 2010 Southern California Rose, taken at the Great American Irish Fair and Music Festival held in Irvine, California. We hear from Sarah's sister Rachel that Sarah enjoys opera singing and Tae Kwon Do. Not content with that Sarah undertakes volunteer work with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Seemed a nice girl but a bit sheltered for an international competition?
Being a bit sheltered is no bad thing in these cynical times, I would have thought. It would a shame if everyone was 'street-wise'.
