No Tralee for Carlow this year

Marion Hynes c/o Carlow Nationalist

In amongst all the good news there are some people who are left disappointed. Marion Hynes is the 2012 Carlow Rose and will be for the whole year. Unfortunately Marion lost out at the regional finals in Portlaoise. We learn all of this from the Carlow Nationalist.

That same organ notes Marion as saying "It was a brilliant weekend; I really had a ball!” .

Marion for Portlaoise

Marian Hynes c/o Carlow Nationalist

Marian Hynes, 2012 Carlow Rose, is really looking forward to her visit to Portlaoise to compete in the Regional Finals.

That wonderful organ, The Carlow Nationist, has a very nice piece all about Marion. A quotation - “I can’t wait; it should be a great weekend,” Marian enthused. “I’m more excited than nervous. I’m looking forward to taking it all in and really enjoying it.”

Jessica Smiles

Jessica Adamson, 2010 Carlow Rose, has returned to the classroom following the Rose Festival. The Carlow Nationalist has a great piece about Jessica and the aftermath of the festival. May we quote '"The beautiful Jessica glittered in Tralee last week, making her a firm favourite not just bookies but with all those who attended the Rose of Tralee festival. “I’m shattered since getting back. Really, it’s been hectic ever since I won the Carlow Rose,” said Jessica on Monday. “I had an absolute ball in Tralee. It’s a shock to the system to get back to normal. It definitely is a bit sad that it’s all over,” she admits'.

Jessica is on her way

Jessica Adamson, the 2010 Carlow Rose, has made it through the regional finals in Portlaoise - she is now headed for Tralee in August. We gather this news from the Carlow Nationalist.

And how did the competetion go? The Carlow Nationalist reports ' "It went very, very well, even though I was really nervous,” said a jubilant Jessie on Monday morning after only an hour’s sleep thanks to the lengthy celebrations. “There were 29 girls over the two nights and we spent the whole weekend living in each other’s pockets. They were all amazing. Half of us went on Saturday night and the other half was on Sunday night, and I was nearly as sick as a dog waiting to go on. But the escorts were back stage and they were really great. Then I went on stage and I was grand. It was brilliant to see all the Carlow flags out in the crowd" '.

Jessica from Carlow

Yet again we have Klassy Dress Hire to thank for news from the south-east of Ireland. Jessica Adamson has been crowned the 2010 Carlow Rose. Jessica's next Rose duty is to participate in the regional finals to be held in June.

A much easier route has been mapped out for the 2010 Carlow Escort. He is Anthony Dempsey and goes straight through to the finals in Tralee later in the year.
