Toronto Rose's Mother Was a Rose!

It appears that her mother, Patricia O'Shea was also a Rose at the Festival in Tralee in 1977. There follows a true love story - Rose meets local, Rose marries local.

Toronto Mystery Update

We received a comment regarding the Toronto Rose, Karina Higgins (see previous post) as follows;

"click here - Toronto Rose Contestants I believe she is the one in the black dress on the bottom row"

I'm sure we will have confirmation soon.

Toronto Mystery

We are reliably informed that Karina Higgins is the 2008 Toronto Rose. However when we check out the Toronto site for the 2008 Rose information, all we find are pictures of the night, pictures of the committee and indeed pictures of the contestants. But we have no names for the pictures! And indeed the site doesn't even name the winner. Oh well. I'm sure it was a great night.
Check it out.
